Terms and Conditions

1.   Acceptance of Terms 

By using the Site and the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site and the App.  

2.   Changes to Terms 

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site and the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. 

3.   Use of the Site 

• Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use this Site and the App. By using the Site and the App, you represent that you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into these Terms. 
• Account Registration: Some features of the Site and the App may require you to register your information. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. 
• User Responsibilities: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. 

4.   Intellectual Property 

• Ownership: All content on the Site and the App is the property of CDx or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Site or the App without our express written permission. 

5.   User Content 

• Submission: If you submit content or materials to the Site and the App (such as comments, feedback, or data), you grant CDx a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute such content. 
• Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you submit and must ensure it does not infringe upon any third-party rights or violate any laws.

6.   Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: 

• Use the Site and the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. 
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Site or the App operation or servers. 
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or the App or other systems or networks connected to the Site and the App. 

7.   CDx In-Person Event and Payment Terms  

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site and the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. 

• Registration and Fees: Payment is required upon registration. We reserve the right to refuse admission to the event if payment has not been received. 
• Early Bird Discounts: To qualify for 'Early Bird' Discounts, payment must be made at the time of registration and before the specified cut-off date. All discounts provided by CDx also require payment at the time of registration. Discounts cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated otherwise. 
• Invoicing and Payment Methods: Payment can be made via credit card and debit card. Invoices will be issued upon registration. Receipt will be provided automatically upon successful registration. Please keep the receipt, this contains the QR code to verify your registration and gain access to the event. 
• Cancellations: In the case where the organizer may need to cancel the event, you will receive a 100% refund. 
• Refunds: All registration is non-refundable under any circumstances. The ticket is transferable.  
• Transfer: You may transfer your ticket to other attendees at any time by providing at least 7 days' notice to the CDx team via email partnerships@seasia-cdx.com. 
• Currency: All fees are quoted in USD and payments must be made in USD. CDx is not responsible for any currency exchange fees or charges. 
• Tax: Any applicable taxes or levies are the responsibility of the attendees. 

8.   Event Changes:  

CDx is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from substitutions, alterations, or cancellations/postponements of events. CDx assumes no liability for events canceled, rescheduled, or postponed due to unforeseen circumstances such as force majeure or act of Gods. 

9.   Speakers and Topics: 

While speakers and topics are confirmed at the time of publication, circumstances beyond our control may necessitate substitutions, alterations, or cancellations. CDx reserves the right to modify the advertised speakers and/or topics as needed without liability or legal recourse. Any updates will be posted on our Site and App. 

10.  Media Recording at Events 

At CDx events, we or our partners may have videographers or photographers on site to capture images, video footage, and quotes for future marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media and website promotion. If you prefer not to be included in these recordings, please inform a member of the CDx event team upon arrival or contact us at partnerships@seasia-cdx.com before the event.  

11. Limitation of Liability 

CDx shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or damages arising from your use of the Site and the App or inability to use the Site and the App. 

12.  Indemnification 

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CDx, Asia Clean Energy Partners Group and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site and the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights. 

13.  Termination 

Were serve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Site and the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to the Site or our App users or attendees.
