Prof. P. Abdul has about twenty five years of international experience in research, consultancy and capacity building related to bioenergy (biomass, biofuel, biogas), waste to energy, renewable energy, energy efficiency, clean coal technologies and carbon capture and sequestration, GHG emission, climate change mitigation and low carbon cities. So far published six books and more than 60 internationally refereed journal articles and conference papers and a number of development and industry reports. Prof. Salam also has three years of working experience as the General Manager and Chief Design Engineer of an energy service company and carried out a number of consultancy and feasibility studies. Implemented several research, development and industrial projects as well as programs funded by international organizations such as Asian Development Bank (ADB), Energy and Environment Partnership (EEP) for Mekong, Global Network on Energy for Sustainable Development (GNESD), Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and many private compani
